In rodent colitis models, KPV has been administered at 0.5–5 mg/kg via oral or subcutaneous routes. For in vitro macrophage inflammation assays, working concentrations of 10–100 µM are common. Because KPV is a small tripeptide, it is readily absorbed in cell culture and in vivo models. Dosing frequency varies by model, with acute single-dose protocols for cytokine assays and multi-day regimens for chronic inflammation studies.
