Semax Dosage Guidance

Research‑based dosage recommendations for Semax. Always follow laboratory safety protocols and institutional guidelines.

In rodent stroke models, Semax has been administered at 50–500 µg/kg, typically via intranasal or subcutaneous routes. For neurotrophin expression studies, single-dose protocols are common, with tissue harvesting at 3, 24, and 72 hours post-administration. Cell culture studies have used concentrations of 0.1–10 µM. The N-acetyl amidate form (N-Acetyl Semax Amidate) is preferred for research due to enhanced enzymatic stability and blood-brain barrier permeability. Dosing should be calibrated to the specific neurological model.
